On the final Saturday of college basketball's regular season, is it dangerous to infer too much into wins and losses at this point? Plus, two teams punched their dance tickets, more bolstered their case for at-large bids and much more.

1. But ... what does it all mean?
If you watched Saturday's games and thought ranked teams didn't fare well, you're correct. Seven of those teams lost, including five of the top 12 teams.
But here's the thing: Only two of the favored teams lost those games. And a cynic would say that most of those matchups didn't mean much in the big picture. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I'm guessing Ed Cooley would have words with those types of people after No. 20 Providence got stomped by Seton Hall, 82-58.
Ed Cooley -- 'Where do you start? There's a lot of emotion.'
'Quite frankly, we didn't show up. I'm very, very disappointed. I'm hurt for our fans.' #pcbb

Another person who might quibble with that kind of thinking? UCLA coach Mick Cronin, who watched the No. 4 Bruins handle No. 8 Arizona, 82-73, for their most impactful victory of the season.
