Top five 2027 prospect Adan Diggs updates recruitment

When watching Adan Diggs play, it’s easy to see why he’s one of the best players in the country.
The 6-5 guard out of Millenium (AZ) stuffs the stat sheet every game and is extremely dynamic off the dribble. This summer with Vegas Elite, he’s averaging 17.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals and has led his team to a 1-1 start at Peach Jam.
“I feel like I impact the game in many ways,” Diggs said of his game. “When I'm not scoring the ball well, I know I can do everything else on the court. I can play defense. I can guard. I can guard the other team's best player. I can rebound the ball. I can do all the little things that some guys don't really see. I feel like that's the biggest thing that helps me and my team win games."
Recently, Diggs made the decision to reclassify up from 2028 to 2027. He was the No. 1 overall player in 2028 and has now made inroads as a top prospect in 2027.
What went into his decision to reclassify?
“I was an older 2028,” Diggs said. “So I felt like it was time and I was ready. And the work showed. The put me as a top five player in the country and now that Marcus [Spears] left, I'm the No. 4 player in the country. And it's just keep on making jumps from there. Me personally, I feel and I know I'm the best player in the country regardless of what it is."
On the recruitment front, Diggs said he’s been hearing the most from Arizona, BYU, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and Virginia. He also has offers from schools like Alabama, Houston, Maryland, Texas, UCLA, Villanova and more.
