The weekend in college hoops
A handful of exhibitions and fan events inched the start of the season closer. Was there anything to learn? Plus: Kansas brought in more 2026 commits, Oregon landed a famous son, more 4-star commitment news, and key injuries to monitor for the Ducks and Hoyas.
Good morning! We’re one Monday closer to the start of the college hoops season. It’s a good feeling, isn’t it?

Buying Cannabis Online Is Now Legal, And Incredibly Convenient
For years, buying cannabis meant taking a trip to a dispensary, dealing with long lines, limited selection, and inconsistent pricing. But thanks to changing laws and innovative online retailers, buying high-quality THC products is now 100% federally legal—and more convenient than ever.
And when it comes to quality and reliability, Mood is leading the way…
Because they’ve completely flipped the script on cannabis shopping. Instead of memorizing hundreds of confusing strain names – like “Gorilla Glue” and "Purple Monkey Breath" – you simply choose how you want to feel: Creative, Social, Focused, Relaxed, Happy, Aroused, and more.
Each gummy is formulated with the perfect blend of Delta-9 THC and botanicals to deliver the perfect mood.
Want a great night’s sleep? Try the Sleepytime gummies. Need laser focus Mind Magic gummies have you covered. Hotter sex? Try the Sexual Euphoria gummies.
It's cannabis shopping that actually makes sense for “normal” people.

1. Fans get early look at handful of programs
The college basketball season is still just under a month away, but some fans were treated with an early look at their teams over the weekend.
Arizona, Duke, Indiana, Michigan State and TCU all hosted events to showcase their rosters. Let’s dive into what we learned:
Arizona
For its annual “Red-Blue” showcase, the Wildcats held a inter-squad scrimmage, 3-point and dunk contest, and even had a guest appearance from Rob Gronkowski. The Wildcats have a star-studded freshman class, bringing in three top-25 ranked freshman, but one of them in particular stole the show at the showcase: Brayden Burries. His 22 points with four triples led all scorers, and his Red Team, to a 45-44 win. Click here for the full box.
Duke
“Countdown to Craziness” took place on Friday night inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. Multiple players stood out during the Blue-White scrimmage, including Isaiah Evans, Nikolas Khamenia, Patrick Ngongba II, Darren Harris and Cameron Boozer, all who had 8+ points. Ngongba was especially impressive, showcasing some Jalil Okafor-type footwork. He could be in for a breakout season.
Indiana
It was a big weekend for Hoosier basketball. Not only did Indiana host a highlight-filled scrimmage game, but the night prior, it hosted an interactive fan event on Kirkwood Street. The event allowed Hoosier fans to meet the players and watch them participate in various skills competitions. Coach Darian DeVries bought the entire upstairs a round, and Trent Sisley hit a wild trick shot. All in all, it was an action-packed weekend, and as one fan said: “In 49 states, it’s just basketball.”
Michigan State
MSU Madness has marked the start of Michigan State basketball for years, and 2025’s rendition featured a scrimmage game, dunk contest, skills challenge and much more. Want to take a guess at who won the dunk contest? Yes, it was none other than Coen Carr. One thing is for certain: the Spartans have ATHLETES this season, including freshman forward Cam Ward, who turned heads during the scrimmage.

TCU
The Horned Frogs’ prized in-state recruit, Kayden Edwards, had quite the coming out party during TCU’s Fan Fest scrimmage game. The freshman scored a game-high 23 points for Team White in a narrow 68-66 loss to Team Purple. In a game featuring two 12-minute halves, it was a pretty impressive mark. Edwards also hit 6-of-7 shots from distance. Iowa transfer Brock Harding also had a great game with 14 points and 11 assists. More stats can be found here.
2. KU’s huge recruiting weekend
Bill Self and Kansas are on an absolute recruiting heater as of late.
Just last Monday, we discussed the Jayhawks’ newest point guard commit, 5-star Taylen Kinney. Since then, Kansas has picked up THREE more commits. Yes, three.
