Last season, Saint Louis emerged as one of the best stories in college basketball, winning 29 games and capturing two Atlantic 10 titles before falling to mighty Michigan in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
While the Billikens lost notable talent from that team like Robbie Avila and Dion Brown, head coach Josh Schertz dipped into the transfer portal to retool this coming season’s roster. It also helped that everyone who could come back, besides one player, did.
Because of the nine returners and over 60% of its scoring back, Saint Louis will again be pushing for a top 25 ranking and Atlantic 10 championship in 2026-27. But how have they meshed three weeks into summer practice?
