The weekend in college hoops 🏀

A Peach Jam dynasty, AJ Dybantsa's future plans, a buzzer-beater and more. Plus, Oklahoma's new prospect, a happy Rick Pitino and Duke's OTHER freshman stud.

Good morning. Was quite the weekend with Peach Jam wrapping up, Team USA’s hoops team struggling, plus plenty of other sports news. Nothing happened beyond that, right?

Let's get to it.

1. A Peach Jam dynasty, courtesy of the Boozers

The rest of the EYBL circuit is gonna be delighted when the Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, finally go to college.

Their team, Nightrydas Elite, won the 17U Peach Jam title on Sunday, defeating the Oakland Soldiers — with their elite prospects AJ Dybantsa and Tyran Stokes — 71-62. It’s the third consecutive Peach Jam title for the team, which won the 15U and 16U in the previous two events.

Cam, as usual, led the way with 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting), 10 rebounds and five assists. He’s viewed as the No. 2 overall prospect in the class of 2025 (behind Dybantsa), but as a winner? There might not be anyone better.

"This group has been together a long time and our goal, always, is to win," Cam told Yahoo! Sports. "I'm so proud of my teammates. Everyone chipped in and we played our asses off. If you want to win, you have to get the entire team involved, it's not just about you. I know they were trying to play me tight and I knew guys coming off screens were going to be open because of the spacing."

Both teams were 14-1 entering the event. There was no shortage of interested coaches watching as Dybantsa led all scorers with 25 points (on 26 shots) and Stokes finished with 22. Ultimately, Oakland didn’t have the balance or depth to compete with Nightrydas, who got 21 points from 4-star guard prospect Dante Allen.

That was just the tip of the elite player iceberg. The young US-born talent is thriving right now, led by 2025 prospects Boozer, Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, plus incoming freshman Cooper Flagg, and ‘26 recruit Stokes.

It’s a helluva mix of individual talent. But it’s hard to not like the guy who just keeps winning over everything else.

2. More news, notes from Peach Jam

There was much more than just the 17U title game from Peach Jam. Here’s what else caught my eye. (Also, be sure you watch for The Field of 68’s one-on-one interview with Dybantsa today).
