Good morning! Let’s get right to the news.

See What's Moving Before Wall Street Wakes Up

Most of us hear about a stock move after it happens — an earnings report, an AI contract, a sector suddenly running — and by the time the news reaches us, the opportunity is gone.

We created Elite Trade Club to fix that.

Each trading day, our team publishes a pre-market briefing built for active traders: stocks surging or collapsing before the open, key earnings that could move markets, under-the-radar companies gaining institutional attention, and the macro events worth watching today.

Fast, practical, straight to the point.

That's why 450,000+ traders rely on us every morning. Get the daily briefing free — no cost, no catch.

1. Notes from MAC media day

We held our second to last media day at the Field of 68 on Tuesday, covering the MAC. Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster spoke with all the coaches and one player from each program to discuss the upcoming season.

Be sure to watch the show above, but if you’re short on time, here’s a few key notes and quotes:

  • Miami is coming off a dream season and Travis Steele is hoping for a repeat. How did Coach Steele pass along the message that last year is in the past? “This year, we try to use the Tennessee game as motivation. I think our guys have that extra jolt of energy. They know it’s a brand new team and you can’t skip any steps. Our guys really embrace the process.”

  • Tod Kowalczyk at Toledo is the longest tenured coach in the MAC and has seen a lot change over the years. What is the main thing he looks for now?: “The number one thing with us is retention. This year we have four freshmen. We anticipate having four next year and I still think we’re going to take high school guys.”

  • Dustin Ford takes over at Akron after John Groce moved on to Charleston. Akron has been to four consecutive tournaments: “It’s been a fun transition,” Ford said. “I got a really good staff that did a really good job in a short period of time putting together a roster of guys that fit my personality.”

  • Rob Senderoff at Kent State is coming off a season where it went 14-4 in conference play. He’s always had good teams, but he knows that he wouldn’t bring everyone back: “This offseason, we had the most turnover of any year that I’ve been here. We had to replace all five starters from last year’s team. It’s a lot of new faces here with our roster and it certainly has been a lot different than in years past.”

  • Frank Martin and UMass head into their second season in the MAC. What’s the biggest difference between the MAC and the A10 where he used to coach?: “The center spot. The center spot in the Atlantic 10 is a big, athletic guy that rolls and plays big at the rim.  In the MAC, the centers are skill guys. They play pick and pop and play 5-out.”
