1. What to know about the Big Ten schedule
The Big Ten finally announced its full league schedule for 2025-26, and snuck in a news nugget as well. Every team’s playing a full 20-game schedule — and every makes the conference tournament from March 10-15. Last season, it was just 15 teams.
Still, it remains an uneven slate because most teams only play once. Three schools will have home-and-away matchups, and play the remaining 14 teams either at home or on the road.

It starts on Dec. 3 with a trio of games: USC at Oregon, Iowa at Michigan State and Purdue at Rutgers. Will that last one be a lopsided affair, or can the Scarlet Knights get back to the era where it beat Purdue three-straight seasons at home?
Purdue has several early tests; five of its first seven games are on the road. The two out West (USC and Washington) are games where the Trojans and Huskies will be looking for a boost in their second year two of Big Ten play.
The Huskies brought in a stacked transfer portal class, and it’ll be tested as well. After playing UCLA at home, they have three-straight road games, including USC, Purdue, and Indiana. And while the next three are at home, it’s against the Michigan schools and Ohio State, three projected top-half teams.
Since the Big Ten plays just about every day of the week starting in January, there’s always a game on. These are my two favorite viewing days (tipoff times and TV networks still aren’t available):
Saturday, Jan 17
Minnesota at Illinois
Iowa at Indiana
Nebraska at Northwestern
UCLA at Ohio State
Michigan at Oregon
Purdue at USC
Michigan State at Washington
Rutgers at Wisconsin
Tuesday, Feb 17
Nebraska at Iowa
UCLA at Michigan State
Wisconsin at Ohio State
Minnesota at Oregon
Michigan at Purdue

2. What’s going on at Wofford?
Wofford fired coach Dwight Perry last week, but there were questions about why considering he’d led the Terriers to the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Thursday brought some clarity, though not a full picture.
