International appeal
A handful of future (and current) college hoops players have stood out at EuroBasket. We highlight Thursday's notable performances. Plus: The latest from Peach Jam, Georgetown's August trip, a potential executive order that would impact college hoops, Fran McCaffery on his Penn return and five teams that could break NCAA tourney droughts.
Good morning! You made it to Friday.
Let's get to all the college hoops news to know.

1. Future college players to know from U20 EUROBasket
The influx of international players to college basketball has grown with the rise of NIL. Now that players can make significant money playing college hoops, they don’t have to stay in Europe before trying to make the NBA.
But they’re focused on playing for their native countries.
Some have done well at EuroBasket U20, which had its quarterfinals on Thursday. France edged Greece in the final seconds, 72-70, and got a nice game from Amael L'Etang, a 7-1 rising sophomore center at Dayton who dropped 13 points and five rebounds for France.
But the star of the game (and day) was Neoklis Avdalas, who produced a game-high 17 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds for Greece.
Gave it his all. 💙
Shout out Neoklis Avdalas for putting Hellas on his back all game long.

Saint Mary’s freshman wing Mantas Juzenas went for 12 points and seven rebounds for Lithuania in an 85-67 win over Slovenia.

Indiana guard Aleksa Ristic scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds for Serbia in its win over Spain.
Former Horizon League POY and Iowa transfer Alvaro Folguerias had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the defeat.
The semifinals will be played on Saturday.
2. Jason Crowe Jr. about to do more than score at Peach Jam
Thursday’s action at the Peach Jam included plenty of star power, but many eyes were on Jason Crowe Jr., one of the 5-star prospects in the 2026 recruiting class.
