11-seed Texas pulled off Saturday's biggest surprise, while Arkansas managed to avoid an upset by outrunning 12-seed High Point. Plus: Nebraska outlasts Vandy in a wild finish, Michigan, Illinois and Michigan State roll, and much more.
Good morning! Hope you spent your Saturday night watching college basketball. There was two incredible, entertaining games to cap the day.

It might be the Big Ten’s year
You know the Big Ten stat. You also know that the league has one of the favorites to cut down the nets. And after Saturday, the Big Ten has four teams in the Sweet 16, with the possibility of adding three more on Sunday.
The overarching goal is to win it all. Through three days, Big Ten teams sure seem capable of doing that.
But while the Big Ten was crushing teams, there wasn’t an NCAA Tournament region that was more fun on Saturday than the West. It only had two games, but we had an 11-3 upset and a wild win by Arkansas over mid-major darling High Point.

1. West Region: Texas, Arkansas deliver delights
The West not only had the day’s only seed upset, it also had one of the more up-and-down, offense-driven games you’ll see during the Big Dance. If guards win in March, Arkansas is one lucky team.
