Where to Find the Best Deals on Hoka Shoes

Meaning “to fly” in Maori, Hoka was founded in 2009 so that anyone spending long hours on their feet could get the ultimate experience with optimum cushioning and stability. 1. St. John’s stays atop Big East (barely)

Kadary Richmond was expected to do big things when he transferred to St. John’s. Wednesday definitely counts.

The All-Big East guard scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and hit an incredible driving layup that send the Johnnies to OT, and eventually a 79-71 win over Xavier.

It electrified the home crowd, which watched No. 20 St. John’s (17-3, 8-1 in Big East) overcome a 16-point deficit to stay atop the league.

"We got it rolling right now, and winning does that," coach Rick Pitino said.

St John's used full-court pressure to wear down Xavier (12-8, 4-5), which didn’t commit a host of turnovers, but clearly were disrupted by the pressure. St John's held Xavier to eight points over a 10-minute stretch, while the Musketeers shot 24-of-60 (40%) and 8-of-20 (40%) from 3. Neither is bad, but a fraction of their numbers from the first half.

Zuby Ejiofor, Simeon Wilcher, and RJ Luis each scored 16 points to help Richmond. They also shot just 1-of-12 from 3, so the struggles continued, but not at the expense of winning.

The win is bigger than just beating Xavier. The Red Storm are 8-1 in conference play, giving them back sole possession of first place over Marquette. If Xavier held onto the lead, Marquette would be the only Big East team with just one loss.

Winning the Big East wouldn't be some run-of-the-mill achievement. St John's last Big East regular season crown was in 1992 when Pitino was a spry young coach at Kentucky.

2. Quite the night for drama in the SEC

Ole Miss led Texas A&M for the whole game on Wednesday night. Well, almost the whole game.
