Four-star 2027 prospect Carson Crawford breaks down top five schools

When it comes to playing with relentless energy, class of 2027 prospect Carson Crawford has made that his identity.

Crawford, the 6-7 wing out of Fleming Island High School (FL), impacted winning in just about every way for the Florida Rebels on the EYBL circuit this summer, averaging 8.6 points and 7.8 rebounds en route to a Peach Jam championship.

The four-star wing has a variety of skills and is known as an excellent rebounder, but what really stands out is just the motor he plays with. Crawford never takes a play off and is always flying around making plays.

“I feel like there's a lot of skill players, but not all of them have a high motor,” Crawford said. “I feel like having a high motor is one thing you can't really train and work on.”

How else would Crawford describe his game?

"I'm an everything type of guy,” he said. “I can do anything you need me to do. Imagine we have a small lineup, I can go play the 5 if you really need me to. If we have a bigger lineup, I can play the 1 if you need me to. I can do all of that, and I feel like that's something any team can use."

Crawford added he wouldn’t put himself in a box positionally, as he can scale up and down lineups. The biggest jumps he’s trying to make in his game are shooting and his overall feel offensively.

On the recruitment front, Crawford narrowed his top schools list down to five on July 26: Arizona State, Florida State, Ole Miss, Providence and Syracuse.

He broke down all five of those programs to The Field of 68 below and gave his official visit dates and decision timeline:
