Few's good men
Gonzaga's got a great frontcourt, talented wings and guards. Is this the season it gets back to the Final Four? Plus: Three notable commitments, another marquee matchup for Dec. 20, the value of a 2-point shot, and more.

Let’s get to the news.

They’re a private company, but Pacaso just reserved the Nasdaq ticker “$PCSO.”
No surprise the same firms that backed Uber, eBay, and Venmo already invested in Pacaso. What is unique is Pacaso is giving the same opportunity to everyday investors. And 10,000+ people have already joined them.
Created a former Zillow exec who sold his first venture for $120M, Pacaso brings co-ownership to the $1.3T vacation home industry.
They’ve generated $1B+ worth of luxury home transactions across 2,000+ owners. That’s good for more than $110M in gross profit since inception, including 41% YoY growth last year alone.
And you can join them today for just $2.90/share. But don’t wait too long. Invest in Pacaso before the opportunity ends September 18.

1. Gonzaga’s potential goes beyond its frontcourt
Gonzaga’s got some certainties for next season. Like the frontcourt.
Even in a loaded year for big men, Graham Ike and Braden Huff should be considered among the best tandem in the sport.
Ike’s a former MWC POY and a two-time All-WCC player. The 6-9 forward might earn All-American consideration this season if he can stay out of foul trouble. Huff’s a 6-10 junior who’s actually a more efficient offensive player than Ike (125.2 ORtg) but played fewer minutes last season, so his production isn’t quite at Ike’s level.
Those two are sure things. Then you’ve got the good bets, such as point guard Braeden Smith, a former Patriot League POY who redshirted last season, Adam Miller, a 6-3 Arizona State transfer who shot 43% from deep last season, Virginia transfer Jalen Warley, a do-it-all guard, and returning wing Emmanuel Innocenti, whose playing time increased as last season wore on. He might be their best defender.
I’d like to include senior wing Steele Venters in that group, but he hasn’t played in two seasons. He might be their best perimeter shooter, if he’s not super rusty.
Then there are the upside plays.
Tyon Grant-Foster, a 6-7 wing who starred the last two seasons at Grand Canyon, could led the Zags in scoring — if he’s eligible. The Zags are still awaiting NCAA clearance. He’s one of the keys to unlocking Gonzaga’s Final Four potential.
The other potential upside player? Incoming Spanish freshman Mario Saint-Supery.
The 6-3 guard has a stellar summer playing in various FIBA events, including EuroBasket where he played against elite NBA players and the best European players and posted one of the best efficiency ratings of the event.
No, that isn’t normal for an incoming freshman. It’s Ricky Rubio stuff.

"Mario's going to play," Few told the Spokane Spokesman-Review in July. "He's played a lot for a kid his age and at a high level over there. He's big enough to kind of play off the ball, but he's a true point guard."
Saint-Supery didn’t waste any time jetting across the globe to get back to Spokane, either. Whether he starts as a backup to Smith, or eventually plays alongside Smithy in a two-guard lineup that features two creators, it’s a good thing for the Zags. If Gonzaga reclaims its spot at the nation’s most efficient offense, there’s a good chance Saint-Supery’ll be a big reason why.
On a team filled with upperclassmen and talent at every position, he could be final piece for its first Final Four since 2021.
2. Three programs, three impact recruits
Big Monday arrived early, at least for those locked into recruiting news.
